guest-moshbaby: What bands do you like and appreciate?
Bobo: Bands like Rage Against the Machine, the Deftones...also classic rock like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath - it goes back and forth between the classic rock and groups that are happening today. We have a very wide range of artists that we listen to and we try to take inspiration from all.
B-Real: All of the groups that Bobo mentioned, as well as groups like Public Enemy, KRS-1, Busta Rhymes...the list goes on.... The Beastie Boys, NWA. All of those groups were very influential to us, and we very much respect all those groups.
guest-Chillas: How was the atmosphere in the studio by working with rock personalities on Cypress V ("Skull and Bones")?
B-Real: It was totally rocked out! It got real stoney; some of us got pissed drunk. It was a great experience.
AML_MPL: Do you see more albums after this one?
Bobo: Of course! We still have more music left to do, you know.
JWhite680: What made you decide to do a rap and rock album? And will it be something you will continue to do?
B-Real: We did the rap and rock album because we have different fan bases, one hip hop and one alternative rock fans. We wanted to give something for both sets of fans, so we will continue to do rock stuff and we will do the hip-hop stuff we have been known for. We are not turning our back on our fans. For the next album or so, it won't be so separate. I think in the future it will be more together on one disc.
SINCE91: Have you guys ever had thoughts on getting into another profession on the side, like going for extra schooling or something?
guest-Steve548: Do you have any suggestions for a new band that is looking>for a good start? John: Just keep it up, keep playing, and don't give up. Be very pushy wit h the business people!
B-Real: Bobo considered porn, and I considered directing Bobo in porno movies.
Bobo: I'm gearing up for the porno career...I'm really getting excited for that.
guest-Chillas: What you guys think of MP3?
B-Real: It needs to be a little more thought out so it's fair to the artists as well as the fans. Right now, we're getting screwed because people are able to download what we worked so hard for for free.
Bobo: I think it's better for unsigned artists to get their music out, and it will be better for regular signed artists when they work out the royalty monies, but for now it's better for unsigned artists to me.
ShavoisHot: Where does the band see its self in five years?
TyrantTHC: Any hints on who's joining you on tour?
B-Real: Besides Limp Bizkit, it's still not known and still tentative.
SipresHyl: I know recording is a hard job, but what album was the most fun to make in the studio?
B-Real: It's tied between Cypress IV and V. It was really fun doing both of those. But it was really more fun putting out this record, because the record company seems more excited about this record than the last one.
